Wow, Trudie has an excellent system of installation, and all the ChArtS volunteers were great. Trevor tried to stress us out by arriving late with his works, but we cut him some slack since his schedule is crazier even than ours. Here’s how it looked going in and up. (Blame Trudie if you don’t like the locations — once she chose some individual impact pieces for the panels, the rest were installed so that each artist’s works were together.
ChArtS put on a good morning tea and mid-day tucker for us. Charlie, ‘director’, was nursing some injuries and only returning to work. So we are all scrambling to keep/catch up in time to pull off this exhibition.
Speaking of catching up….I am only able to post this blog because I stayed up all night processing all the photos. Thanks to a long walk around Childers in the sun, resulting in a power nap as soon as Trudie drove us back to BRAG, only to be up and alert throughout the wee hours. I’ll have to stay awake now until Adrianne drops off her loaner car for me.
Speaking of Childers, it is a lovely old town. Not the big city, however, as evidenced by cows in the school paddock and Joco’s ute (short for utility truck, aka pick-up).
