Desert Chill

Yesterday I went out to Dripping Springs with some people from Plein Air Painters of Southern New Mexico and of course the weather let us know who’s boss.

We stuck it out for a couple of hours but in the end the chilling wind off the desert saw us scurrying to cars and headed for hot drinks. Beautiful grey light though and a stunning setting in these mountains that run just east of Las Cruces.

Of course lovely and sunny again today when I’m working inside on more printmaking lessons. Che sera sera.
