Put some bases down today using Art Spectrum #1 medium on the first layer, which allows for some quick drying to start with. I’m heading away for a couple of days so the blog will find some peace at last!

Worked pretty solidly today until the new SW USA map arrived in the mail and it was engrossing and full of wild dreaming. It’s obviously an excellent quality map as it includes Las Cruces, Lamy and Hillsboro! Sneaking into shot – the studio assistant, Sunday.

  1. Know you’re on to that wedding, but WOW on those two dark blue paintings. I love them, base coat or no. And, Sunday, what an assistant you have there. awwwwwww

  2. Hi Adrienne, Looks like a mass of works coming through. Good for you! I guess it’s Back to the grindstone and getting our works finished for wbhd2? C x

  3. Hi Chris, by the looks Nolan’s works will arrive in Aus before I even start mine. Trying not to let any kind of panic set in and have said to myself ‘as long as they’re in the mail in mid July’ :-] I have to stay on these ones until the 1st week of June so still a ways to go, but it’s a good problem to have hey. Feels like these last couple of weeks the compositions are moving to a place I want them to be to slide into the WBHD ideas. Squeak.
