Patterns in ruins

Beautiful artistry in masonry today at Aztec Ruins National Monument and Chaco Canyon.

… and a little bit of scribble time after lunch: junipers and rock slabs.

Tonight’s gem, by design, the Silver Saddle Motel in Santa Fe complete with Winkler wall sculpture 😀

  1. aw, that longhorn’s name is Chuffy. We know the owner of the motel so traded it for a gazillion nights there (before the kids moved to SFe). They put lights on it, which is fine with the artist, whew.
I love those shots of Chaco. And you, blue woman, look perfect, if not a bit like Alice in Wonderland (large for the portal). Sweet. LOVE those patterns.
